A fruitful partnership

When the LundBioaccelerator Program personnel management and inventors agree to develop and commercialize an invention the following happens:

• A partnership is established between the inventors and the LundBioaccelerator consortium (LUIS and LU Bioscience AB).
• The inventors and the LundBioaccelerator consortium form a jointly owned portfolio company with the objective of developing the invention in the most efficient way
• The LundBioAccelerator management takes full responsibility for the commercialization process and takes care of everyday activities with the inventor acting as advisor. This is the case in the early invention development process and in the later management of the company. In this way, inventors are liberated from the demands as a business entrepreneur and can concentrate on what they do best – to advance their own research and inventions.
